If anyone ever questions anything Deontay Wilder says you can just say Eddie Hearn is such an evil person and end the conversation. I couldn't care less about the promoter and the fighters purse. I care about the actual fights. And it looks like this one ain't gonna happen because it was never meant to happen. I think Deontay Wilder wants more money and that's the bottom line of why this fight isn't happening. Deontay Wilder has pretty much admitted this.
well he may want more money, but hes asked for 40% hes accepted the 15mil flat fee, it just so happens that the contract had terms in it that were suspect. no showtime, they pick the ref, they pick the judges, and only a rematch if aj loses. and it was for april 2019, if aj loses to pedvtkin then wilder is locked into that mess. I don't think even you would sign that. hearn should have offered wilder 35% or at least 30 and negotiated this way we wouldn't be talking about a flat fee or 50mil. Hearn never wanted this fight next as hes stated since last year, the fanatics defending his every contradiction are the worst.

No, but turning down an offer like that is some historic *****! Shelley Finkel is not some "Johnny-Come-Lately" in the business!

        June 23, 2010:

Shelly Finkel was introduced to the entertainment business through his initial experience in the music industry. He initially launched his career in entertainment by running a club called "The Action House," featuring legendary bands such as Cream, The Doors, Procol Harem and some of the most recognized groups of the 1960s. In 1973, Mr. Finkel produced and promoted The Summer Jam at Watkins Glen, a rock festival which once received the Guinness Book of World Records entry for "Largest audience at a pop festival." An estimated 600,000 fans attended to see the Allman Brothers Band, The Band and the Grateful Dead perform. During his career he promoted concerts for some of the biggest names in the industry such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Elton John, and numerous other household names.

Additionally, Mr. Finkel has been the premier manager of fighters since he broke into the professional boxing scene in 1980 and was selected by the Boxing Writers' Association of America as Manager of the Year in 1990 and 1993. He has represented some of the biggest names in the sport, including Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, and Manny Pacquiao to name a few. Most recently, he has advised IBF and WBO World Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko and WBC World Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko. His legendary career in boxing was recognized on June 13, 2010 when he was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

Those are potential fights that can make him money moving forward. Like I said before he can make that 50million dollars in two fights, taking jealousy and bitterness out of it everyone on here knows he can. In two fights with or without Wilder.

I think he has some hidden money that’s not declared. And when did I say he makes 25m dollars?

For a guy who is milking fans and making easy fights, he has the same if not better resume than Wilder, in less fights, less years. From 15-0 he has taken on fights that most prospect like Wilder would be take on at 32-0. So if he has to given up his belts then no one would even hold one, not especially Wilder who needed twice the fights and double the years.

I strongly suspect that hidden money, if there is any, goes to Hearn.

You said he'll make 50 million in two fights. Which would be an average of 25 million per fight. It doesn't seem that he actually would make that.

He may make 40 million in two fights. That seems realistic. But I was just wondering what credible evidence you had that he'd make 50 million in two fights. If the answer is none, that's fine.
