Tell me which weak B side like Wilder made that kind of money in history?
he's a similar kind of b side to Joshua that ggg was to Canelo. He deserves a portion of the ppv cut plain and simple because he's the highest grossing fight available to Joshua. You clearly love Joshua as you seem to have posted 158 times today alone just to defend him but the fact is, Hearn doesn't want this fight for Joshua just yet. That's all there is to it.

    • I think if wilder beat Parker then he might have more bargaining power. Didn't floyd say if you beat so and so you got a fight without even bringing how much floyd would give you into equation?

I say that to say this.

They think they know Wilder's worth, but they don't know how to pay Wilder and still make top dollar in the U.K. All they know is that the fight can be big over there and that the just want to be greedy which is why they refused the fight in America, lmao. It's hilarious...
Exactly! The reason the fight is huge is due to the BOTH of them. I don't understand how this isn't common sense.

Oh it was a boring fight, and I wished it had some action after all the talk from Fury and what not, but you still can't not give Fury credit for the win is all i'm saying.

            • What I can't understand is why Wilder ia not the draw in US that AJ is. Maybe AJ is understated and Wilder a bit brash but Tyson Furry is brash and he is populist as hell in UK so it is not that. His fights generally end in knockout. He has character and he isn't dull?

Do you realize how silly that statement sounds? The fight is so valuable because of the TWO of them. Joshua can't make a superfight by himself can he?

Golovkin is a superior fighter in every way to Wilder. Much more accomplished. And he only got 30% the first time round with Canelo. It's only after the first fight did big on PPV that Golovkin earned more. Throw in the fact that Golovkin won the first fight but was robbed and Canelo's problems with failing drug tests and it all adds up to Canelo needing Golovkin for his reputation. So it's not even close to being the same situation as Joshua/Wilder.

When the contract came and the figure was $15m, he doesn't sign the contract and turns down the deal saying they should have offered him more money and people defend this?

Yet they will criticise Joshua just for asking for a contract when the $50m offer came. It's madness.
Because the contract was missing a date and location deliberately. It was a bullchit contract meant to stall and avoid taking the fight next. This is common knowledge, keep up.
