I get this feeling GGG wanted a rematch to get a second bigger payday. I keep saying I shouldn’t, but I know I would if I’m making a million or two a fight, cut in half for taxes, cut against for everything else. The money isn’t as much as folks think. The first fight was good money, but a second one will mean he’s set.

So it would not at all shock me if what I viewed as ggg slowing down, was more him trying to keep it close and win a close one. It explains why he wouldn’t throw when he had Canelo trapped. That and Canelo will theoretically be clean this fight.

Time will tell.

Never understood the diva mindset. Canelo has no titles, got popped for peds and got a gift draw in the first fight but insists on coming to the ring 2nd and being announced 2nd. His priorities are all messed up.
