  • Comments Thread For: Leo Santa Cruz More Than Ready For Oscar Valdez, Gary Russell

Leo Santa Cruz (35-1-1, 19 KOs) has not yet finished digesting the rematch victory he had last month against division rival Abner Mares in Los Angeles, and he is already excited about the possibility of unifying world titles in December with another Mexican, Oscar Valdez, who recently launched a direct challenge.

Hope they make Russel / LSC

Everyone knows Valdez ( who I’m a fan of ) is stuck in the Top Rank BS matchmaking program. Once he heals his jaw he’ll fight 2-4 scrubs then when he steps up against a name it’ll be a fighter years past his best before date

I agree somewhat he should have 1 or 2 soft touches because of the layoff and to see how his jaw is

The Quigg fight was a all out war and same with the Filipino fighter.

But past that it time to face the best at 126(Russel , Leo , Frampton who holds the WBO intern ) . Like I said I’m a fan and consider him must watch but his resume is the typical TR garbage. Quigg claim to fame is losing is 1 big fight he lost , gradovich was pretty much blind , marriaga? And the rest are no hopers

His divisions stacked he needs to fight the best in it

Valdez , Zurdo and now Ramirez are on some TOp Rank garbage matchmaking theyr all champs and need to fight guys in the top 5 Now this layup sh.it has to end

Why is he outright running from Frampton?

                Exactly what I was thinking

There's unfinished business that LSC wants no part of
