Floating just above water
With Ward retiring and Rigondeaux getting beat, RNS is currently without a TV fighter.
Maurice Hooker has the next chance (if he performs well enough in the tournament, or even wins, there's no doubt in my mind that Showtime would be interested in Hooker for ShoBox), but all it takes is one fighter to break through.
Until then, RNS farms out there fighters to wherever they can get them fights.Comment

they were already out of business before rigo got beat. They are either releasing fighters now or the ones that have some value they are farming out as b sides or giving their prospects their contracted minimums to build them to a spot to be a B side on another fighters card like they just did with the Young God.With Ward retiring and Rigondeaux getting beat, RNS is currently without a TV fighter.

They are done with boxing. They are just trying to cut their losses. They wiped out almost their whole staff. After losing so much money with Ward they were happy to see him goComment

That $50M contract for Cotto probably put them in the red. The only lucrative match on that contract was the Canelo fight. Ward's fights tanked in terms of PPV/revenue as well. This is a company that four years ago offered Broner a $40M contract. Clueless.Comment
