Same people who praised Floyds A side behaviour now critique Joshua doing the same?

i think what might have happened is that wilders fans have been conditioned now into thinking their guy is some type of boss in the division with all his talk, well if u think belts are just for dust and ppv's are just for show and gates are just for opening, then i can completely understand the viewpoint actually
if it does boil down to wilder not taking the fight for 15 mil and no rematch clause for him, i think thats too bad for him really, if i was joshua i wouldnt lose any sleep over it, boxing not a charity event, if wilders positon was stronger he could demand more, hearn is just protecting his fighter, ko joshua and u can have everything u are crying about and get paid well for doing it too!!! stop crying, crybabyComment

It's true AJ is not in Floyd's league for quality of opponents beaten but nobody fighting today is either. AJ is still very much the Aside compared to Wilder.I am not saying Ring magazine rankings are perfect but they are reasonably good rankings by an American magazine. At heavyweight they rank AJ 1st, Wilder 2nd, Povetkin 3rd,Parker 4th,Ortiz 5th, Whyte 6th, Breazeale 7th, Miller 8th, Kawnacki 9th and Fury 10th. So while Wilder has defeated number 5 Ortiz AJ has defeated number 4, number 6 and number 7 and that is better. Add to that the facts that AJ has all the belts except the WBC and makes big money no matter who he fights and AJ is very much the A side. As long as he doesn't lose a fight AJ can go on making giant check after giant check without ever fighting Wilder. So yes AJ is the Aside and doesn't need to ever fight Wilder if he doesn't want to. He only needs to keep winning. If AJ loses then Wilder will have a new champion to try to get a fight with.Comment

OP is exactly right. Wilder fanboys will never admit it but they know deep down that the B side has never gotten a rematch clause or control of the officials. Its unheard of. If one of Floyd's opponents had been as much of a diva as Wilder is being now then the fanboys would be totally up in arms no question. Joshua will continue to bank 8 figures and sell out massive stadiums every time and Wilder will continue to fight in house Haymon controlled guys for a fraction of what he'd make against AJ. Its his loss.Comment

OP isn't wrong really. Wilder, like it or not isn't the draw here. He becomes part of a huge fight if he signs to fight Joshua but he won't make any where near what was offered with out him. The fight is a 50/50 right now because and only because Wilder can end it at any moment from round one to round 12. AJ is still pretty green, Wilder is screwing up in my opinion letting him get more experience. If Joshua gets by Povetkin he will have learned alot from that fight. Wilder should have took the 15 million and looked for that right hand to land, there would have been plenty of opportunities now, might not he so many down the road.Comment

Wilder is ducking big time.
Aj has best wlad, parker, brezele, whyte, and takam nearly all top ten. And he did it in nearly half of amount of fights Wilder has.
Wilder needs to stop making excuses.
I don't care if Josh fights him next year. But then Josh would have be at povetkin also. The who's who of heavyweights.location

Yup.. Now Joshua is seeing that same Hate...Didnt Floyd Have to go through the same thing to get an Oscar De La Hoya Fight. So Wilder himself revealed why he didnt sign the contract to face Wilder:
1.) Rematch clause (only for Joshua)
2.) Officials (would be picked by the British Board of Boxing Control).
3.) "Crackhead money", only 15 Million, only 6 times his highest payday
When Floyd was the A side it was common practice that only he got a rematch clause and the NSAC (Nevada State Athletic Commission) also picked the officials. Also when did Floyd ever pay his opponents 15 Million or 6 times their highest purse? He paid Canelo 5 Million and Cotto 8 Million, and his other opponents got even less.
When did any of Floyds opponent ever complain or cry as much as Deontay and his team do right now?
Most of the people in this forum were totally fine with Floyd calling the shots when he was the A side fighting all these other high profile fighters and world champions but now they critique Anthony Joshua for doing the same?
Thats called hypocrisy. Double Standards. Bias. Thats why this forum is suffering and many good posters are leaving or stopped posting. When you eventually only have all the biased sycophants, trolls and dummies left you can all have a great circlejerk.
Now you can enjoy Wilder fighting a couple more Haymon controlled pushovers, at least he got a ton of publicity and promotion from using Joshuas name in the last couple weeks, his Teams plan worked, use Joshuas name to promote Wilder and manipulate the gullible american fans.
There's a reason Finkel protected Wilder from Klitschko and never even tried to unify the titles with Parker in 40 fights while Joshua has done so in just 20.
Think about it, Wilder fights one good opponent, an old cuban on high blood pressure (whose best and only good win is Bryant Jennings) and almost gets knocked out, his team either wants a retirement fund or they want to keep milking the paperchamp vs inhouse nohopers like they did all his career.Comment
