He looked really good early in his career like he could go places, but now i think he's probably at the top end of domestic level.

I think he'll really struggle beyond that.
I was on record a few fights back saying I thought he was the 2nd best 140lber in Britian after Taylor, now I'm not so sure. I agree he's probably more European level in the end than world level

I'd like to see him versus Ohara Davies. It'll be a good test to see where Davies is at too, to see if he can go beyond domestic level.

That Taylor fight was too early for Davies, even though he had more pro fights. I think his power is real, even Taylor said he can really hit. If he can improve his all round game, he can still be a dangerous fighter.

5-0 Conlan. I'm not sure how to match this guy, he wins every round of every fight, but finds a way to look lacking while doing it. I feel like if you move him to world level he's going to get exposed, but it's not doing much good to keep fighting opponents that can't take a single round off you.

No you are right, he's not exceptional in any category. He doesn't have any power but he's solid in most other areas so he's able to win rounds against less talented fighters. The first time he's in with a more or similarly talented guy, I think he's toast

From Catterall's perspective I'd want that fight, from Davies side I'd want 1 more fight at British level. The gulf between Taylor and the guys Davies has beaten is like the Grand Canyon, I'd want him to at least face one warm body before jumping in with El Gato. But that fight makes a ton of sense in general, especially for Catterall.

79-73 Conlan on my card, yet he continues to underwhelm despite winning another fight easily. By far the least enjoyable fight of the card. Reminds me a bit of Mike "Yes Indeed" Reed, think he'll get exposed eventually at world level. Maybe fight someone like Duarn Vue next who's coming off a win over Cermeno

Michael Conlan won on his homecoming. The 26-year-old featherweight outpointed Brazil's Adeilson Dos Santos over eight rounds Conlan hasn't boxed in his home city since December 2010 when he lost a controversial decision in the Ulster Senior Championships.
