Dude AJ beat Charles Martin for his title. That's not any better. The Parker win is though

Self confidence and showmanship is obviously shunned upon these days. I remember when iron mike was raping white boys and eating children. That **** got him a carton show. My have times changed

stiverne was considered the #2 fighter in the world at the time.

I am sure Wilder was arrogant long before he beat Stiverne.

Fury, Povetkin, Pulev, Wilder, Klitschko, Haye all better than stiverne at that time, hell even eddie chambers/adamek(2013) lol, you can say no.2 ranked alllll you want, but we ALL know he was not the second best heavyweight in the world and never has been, which is what you're implying. and who had him at no.2, the wbc? well we've just seen the IBF have ocampo as mandatory but we know he is not a top 30 welterweight in the world, boxrec didn't have stiverne at no.2 but regardless we all know about inflated rankings, bermane is trash and theres not one win on his record you can point to to display otherwise, there is a loss and a draw prior to the wilder fight I can point at to display that he is an average joe boxer and not world class though.

Thank you for your opinion. I don't argue opinions. The fact is that the world's leading experts had him at #2. Please show us your posts complaining about his ranking at the time.

Wilder beat Charlie Z. That has to count for something.

Stiverne was #2 in the world at the time. AJ has never beaten anybody ranked that high.

both resumes are shoddy as fnck. imho, wilder would have ended the wlad aj fought as well. only sooner.

thing is, it doesnt appear that aj wants to settle this any time soon.

At least Stiverne knocked Arreola out to take the title instead of Martin basically winning his by default after his opponent came into the fight carrying an injury.
