THROWBACK: Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s Ridiculous Jump Rope Skills

It can't be expressed the level of balance, coordination, rhythm and focus this takes to keep this up the way he does.

I would call that great rope skipping. Two others who were great at it: Robinson and Duran.

But you know a cat like Leonard was probably in their league when it came to a rope, too. Any of the fast twitch fiber boys would be good to watch. Even some of the oxen would shock with their coordination. It is something boxers do. Other sports do not characteristically use it in training that I know of. A few maverick athletes from disparate sports probably realize its advantages and therefore have incorporated it into their training, however.

Even Liston was good to watch as he skipped to Night Train, his perennial musical accompaniment.

You can't be serious. Look at how many times he gets tangled just trying to speed up. Floyd just goes

You’re right but he’d do better if was on the floor. The ring isn’t hard enough and has too much bounce.
