That's not true. Anthony Joshua, Kell Brook, Tony Bellew, Amir Khan and possibly Callum Smith (depending on how the George Groves fight goes) have already shown themselves to be world level; count an on-form Tyson Fury, Billy Joe Saunders, Carl Frampton, James Degale, Lee Selby, Josh Taylor, and a few others have also shown their ability.

Just be clear that most of the matchups that get hyped as great fights aren't really great fights.

Hey Deontay, why does Tony Bellew earn more money than you?

              Mayweather Sweepstakes, huh?

Your career payday was $2.1 million and the offer to you got upped to $15 million and that’s short money.

              Okay...
You do understand that there's a big difference between a US based Mayweather (who could sell 1 million PPVs against anybody at his peak, literally anybody) fight and a Wilder/Joshua PPV right?

It's simple economics. Just look at the purses for Canelo's opponents over the years. There's a wide range for a reason. All PPV stars aren't made equal. It's like the difference between prime Tyson and Oscar.

AJ makes the lion share for a UK based affair, which is why they were willing to take $15 million over there. But on our side of the pond, it's a $100 million dollar fight with both of them, not one without the other.

$15 million isn't that bad for a UK fight at all. Vlad got $18 - $20 million. But in the US, it's not the smartest move. There were many boxing insiders who were really arguing against team Wilder accepting the $15 million b/c they thought it was silly to risk a $100 plus dollar affair here.

Seemingly because the Brits don't mind spending money to watch mediocre fighters, as long as they can get drunk and sing 'Sweet Caroline' together. Tony Bellew, however, has taken risks to earn big money, moving-up from light heavyweight to twice upset one of the country's most popular heavyweights. He wouldn't have made that kind of money fighting little-known African cruiserweights.

Props to Wilder! Just posted in another thread this is what he has to do! It is time to go even harder on them keep bashing and trashing them it will get to a point where AJ will have to speak up for HIMSELF and as a MAN he will have to say enough is enough and demand Eddie to do whatever to make that fight.

Make them feel like they created a Monster and something must be done to Shut Him Up! This will only make the fight BIGGER honestly!
