Comments Thread For: Devin Haney: If Garcia vs. Easter Winner Wants Me - I'm Available!

19-year-old undefeated sensation and USBA Lightweight champion, Devin "The Dream" Haney (19-0, 13 KOs), has captured his second title before age 20, but even more impressive, is his ranking at # 15 by the IBF, meaning a title shot is near.

Haney is really good from what I've seen. But his people need to step him up properly cuz he's at his 20th fight next fight. Give him a few more fights before getting a Garcia type imho.

The winner of Garcia vs Easter is going to fight Richard Commey.

Haney should step up until he gets the opportunity.

This kid is talented but nowhere near ready for Mikey Garcia and not even Robert Easter. GebRely got ranked at 15 by one sanctioning body and half this kids fights are in Tijuana vs cab drivers.
Mason was a nice win. Now grab wins Gs guys like Memphis Miller, PaulusMoses and the dude who just beat Verdejo. Then u will be ready.

No way they fight this dude next. He Needs to overpay someone like commey or another legit contender to fight him because they won't face him for cheap. Once he beats one of them, it'll catapult him to a risk worth taking by either Garcia or Easter.

Nah Devin this boxing thing is about going forward , getting the biggest fights possible, and Mikey and Robert Easter are levels above you , they're not gonna step down in competition just to help a young fighter build up, you gotta earn your shot.. and tell your dad to stop erasing the videos from YouTube of when they whoop you on sparring,

Well not being with Haymon makes all of that a lot harder to pull off. I actually think he could beat Easter with another fight or so. He'll get his opportunity.
