My take on the Wilder-AJ fight

My take on the Wilder-AJ fight and pointing out the bs from both sides.

Firstly, fanboys can gtfo. You know who tf you are.

-Why tf is AJ radio silent, why can't he speak for himself
-Why hasn't AJ said anything about the $50mil guarantee comment he pubicly made and subsequently reject said offer
-Why tf did Winkel just not arrange to a meeting when Eddie called for one after Winkel said the terms must first be agreed
-Why tf is Hearn sending a contract with no terms of date, this shyster publicy claimed he made a deal with Parker-Whyte in 2 days but refuses to note a date for an obviously greater fight
-Why tf has the WBA not stripped AJ after failing to make a deal within 24 hours with Povetkin
-Why tf did the WBA get involved when they still have not mandated or stripped Thurman (their welterweight champ)
-Why is Winkel stating it will take days to send the contract with updated comments (fax or scan to email that ****)
-Why tf can't both teams just arrange a meeting an hammer out a deal

Some things I reckon are occurring.

Matchroom are delaying the fight as much as they can to maximise revenue from other fights before facing Wilder. This is more fact than opinion based on Barry's comments - https://www.boxingscene.com/barry-he...ns-why--127935

In the process of waiting out the fight, Wilder will be closer to his mid 30s (similar case to Canelo delaying the GGG fight).

Eddie is potential putting up another roadblock by trying to stage Wilder's next fight on DAZN per https://www.boxingscene.com/hearn-il...ext-ny--129500

    Final notes

I always felt this fight was scheduled for mid 2019 or heck even early to mid 2020, it's just the way boxing business works. Expect the fight to happen in around a year from now, everything else is just hype.

Because AJ reneged on the deal. So there was nothing to meet about.

      All good points

The most alarming thing for me is the silence of AJ

The guys supposed to be the Champ and is being criticized by everyone from fighters , media , promoters and fans and he won’t even give his side

. Wilders questioning his manhood and integrity. Lennox is saying he’s on some bullish.it , Fury chirping in and just crickets

Is his last interview the one where he said he’d accept the 50 million offer. He’s gone ghost looks like a muzzle been put on and let Hearn be his mouthpiece which has gone horribly wrong IMO for his reputation
And at this point I don’t even know if he could come back from it and be a cross over star in the States like what was originally planned

        always remember

hearn wanted wilder to fight whyte...wilder said "ok but if you deliver me AJ next after that" and hearn said "it doesnt work like that"

then hearn pretends to negotiate....says hes sending a contract and sends one without a date...when finkel asks about the date hearn says "the date will be in april 2019 we cant fight you next but we will fight you in april"

the world was clamoring for aj/wilder now...wilder is in AJs head

remember after parker aj talking about his belts and and yelling "willddderrrrrrrrr"....talkin about how he was "about that life"? lolol

Has AJ said ANYTHING since “let’s roll” on Wilder’s Instagram pertaining to the 50 mil? Because I got the impression he was told to keep his mouth shut after that

It sounds like neither side wanted to make the fight very much. A deal usually happens through both sides giving in a little and they meet somewhere in the middle. When neither side will give an inch no deal is made. I think when AJ said he would fight Wilder for 50 million he meant in England, not Alabama. I would love them to fight each other but I have no control over it so I don't worry about who's fault it is they aren't fighting. If the fight happens this year or next year or the year after that then great. If it never happens too bad but boxing will still have lots of other good fights. One of them will probably lose to someone else and that will change things. This board has become worse to me because of this fight not happening. Just about every thread is about who is to blame for the fight not happening and most have picked a side and aren't changing their mind. It's been talked to death and there are almost no threads about anything else. So if I want to talk boxing which I like to do I must talk about this non happening fight or not talk at all.

All signs point to Hearn/AJ not wanting the fight next.

No one is mad at Hearn for wanting to launch DAZN with AJ. No one is mad at AJ/Hearn for wanting to get a huge payday in before he fights Wilder. No one rational should be mad that AJ has the right to choose where and when he wants the fight since he is the top draw. People are just annoyed that Hearn went through all the BS pretending the fight would be next.

Frankly, after all the BS we've all been through the last few years with other big fights, many of us would've respected Hearn If he came out an said, " AJ will fight Wilder in Wembley when the weather allows it so we will have a fight in between."
