- Traveled to Germany for $70k to defeat Culcay in another SD for WBA title.
- Talked of fighting Lara but rumored to have priced himself out.
- Dropped WBA belt, moved to 160 & fought one middling opponent since.
- Dropped out of Derevyanchenko negotiations (would have set him up as mandatory v GGG that said he wanted all along) claiming that 7 weeks was not enough time to prepare.
- Yet claimed he'd step in for Canelo on 3 weeks notice to fight GGG.

I get that top fighters have been turning their head at the oppertunity to face him but what has he been doing the whole time? In the past 5 years hes only fought once a year in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and has only fought twice a year in 2013 and 2017. If the top fighters are ducking, cool rack up wins against whoever WILL fight you so when 5 years pass you have a credible track record of activity and a buffed record. Than you will be more attractive and have more of a claim to try and lure the bigger names. With 3 easy fights a year, by now he could have 30+ wins and be undefeated. Not to mention that if you look impressive in your fights you will get attention, doesnt matter the level of opposition. Knock em out or beat em up good because if you create highlights people will bring your name up for you. Like Andrade a lot just feel he's a little entitled and may have let some important developmental prime years pass. Still has prime time left but some of it has deff went by unused.
