That's why there wasn't an initial fight date on the contract, April 2019 was Hearns play all along. Darn shame
The initial contract guaranteed that Joshua would fight Wilder next. There's no way they could have gone ahead with the Povetkin fight if he just signed it as the WBA wouldn't have felt the need to step in.
*** all these immature managers and promoters and fighters on all sides who talk and act like they arent even in grade school yet! Is there a single promoter who is past the emotional IQ range of a 12 year old??????

After the way Hearn has been handling negotiations, why would anyone trust an incomplete contract? Hearn and Joshua wouldn't even verbally agree to fight for $50 milllion, but people are mad Wilder didn't sign a shady contract.
Hearn is playing games y all of a sudden he has a date. But didn’t have a date in the contract nor did he have a date when wilders team ask for crucial info like a date when they asked? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Povetkin contract was already signed. That wasn't left blank & had assurances 😉

It didn't guarantee Wilder was next even Hearn said Finkel had to ask him if that was the case and Eddie said yes, it wasn't in the contract. Who in their right mind would sign a contract that doesn't tell you where the fight is going to take place or when? As I said I think that was done on purpose, Hearn didn't have a date for this year but now all of a sudden within hours of saying they are gonna fight Povetkin April 13th just happens to be a date that pops up. I think that was the plan from the onset of things

Actually it didn't. That was one of Finkels concerns. It's on WBN.
