Comments Thread For: Isaac Dogboe vs. Danny Roman Unification Targeted For 2018

On April 28th, Isaac Dogboe showed Jessie Magdaleno no brotherly love in taking his WBO super bantamweight title with an 11th round stoppage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After a trip to the canvas in the first round, Dogboe turned things around by knocking down Magdaleno in the fifth and then twice more in the 11th before the fight was waved off.

So you mean to tell me that Isaac 'Royal-Storm' Dogboe just in 2018 alone can potentially have won the interim vs. dangerous Cesar Juarez in Africa, traveled to Jessie Magdalenos country ( the great U.S.A ) three months later ; beat the champ for the WBO 122 title, then come back on ESPN in late summer beat another top five opponent at jr. featherweight and finally unify the WBA-WBO with another top five champion in Danny Roman?!

Isaac Dogboe has got to be considered fighter of the year, and rightfully enter the P4P discussion.

I really enjoyed his last outing. Looking forward to his next fight.

You can see he's a little tank, I don't think he has many fights at 122 in him.
Yeah I believe it, I remember Isaac saying he drops middlweights -- not sure if he said KO but I do know he hurts them.

Dogboe kos roman i dont see roman being able to last the full 12. He will most likely be up on the cards when he does fall though

Royal Storm has lot of potential to be a superstar!

But being with Bob Arum, i don't think he will reach it!

I favor him to beat all the champs, He's not in his prime yet and can only get better!

Just need to clean up the footwork, shifting angles and utilize the jab more!

...and despite all this I’d probably still favor Rigo against them all. :/

Funny how the absence of one guy makes the division seem better.
