Thats the problem with the sport of boxing. Once these guys get to the high level they start avoiding other high level opponents. We see it month after month and the sad part is thats its our own fault. We continue buying all these ppv fights hoping for great fights. Its a shame that we the people don't matter. Everyone wants to get rich of these boxers and we get send to the back of the bus.Comment

$15m in April... more money than God when he knocks Joshua out.
Wilder's the B side through his own management team's fault. They should have been the ones to fight Klitschko and put themselves in the driving seat of the heavyweight division but they didn't. They let a guy with much less experience come along and steal a march on them.
Given that they allowed this to happen and they are now the B side they cannot be expected to have everything go their way. If they are confident of winning, which they should be, they should take this opportunity to put themselves in the position that they should be in - at the top of the division. To do that they have to knock Joshua out but first of all they have to get him in the ring. How do they get him in the ring? Sign the contract. If they create a contract then AJ will have to fight or be in breach of contract (Hearn and AJ won't allow that to happen, trust me)
So many of y'all saying that Wilder shouldn't sign, because Hearn's a liar or whatnot, it's straight up cuck talk. Sign the fight. Win the fight. YOU'VE GOT HEARN WHERE YOU WANT HIM RIGHT NOW. DON'T LET HIM OFF THE HOOK BY WALKING AWAY FROM THIS.
No one's gonna give a **** how much Wilder got paid in the split for the first fight if he goes on to beat AJ in a rematch for 50/50 and goes on to rule the division. They've got the contract now, Hearn has said that they can use the same contract and insert the date and the venue. Forget about the rematch clause, have some balls and back the fact that they will win and sign the contract as it is. If they ask for changes to the contract Hearn is legally entitled to walk away from the deal because a counter-offer extinguishes the original offer. If they wait to sign then Hearn may be entitled to walk away because offers expire after a reasonable time has elapsed. Sign the contract as it is tomorrow and send it back to Hearn. Fight in April. Don't let your opportunity to rule the roost pass you by because you're waiting for the conditions to be perfect. Hearn is a POS, he's not going to give you anything out of charity.
Some people are starting to p*ss me off. Just sign the damn contract and fight, it's that simple.Comment

The WBC champion also revealed he took issue with the rematch clause in the contract, which would only apply if Wilder won.

Wilder has reacted furiously to the latest developments and accusations from the Joshua camp that claim the American never had any intention of signing the contract.
Matchroom boss Eddie Hearn believes Wilder was bluffing through-out talks, but the heavyweight champion has dismissed those allegations.
‘It was simple. The two things were simple. How can you send a contract to anybody when you don’t have no date on there?’ Wilder said on ‘The Boxing Voice’ podcast.

‘Nor do you have a venue up in there. He’s sending the contract saying ‘Just sign it’. And then another thing that was up in there was talking about if I beat Joshua he gets a rematch, but if he beats me then it’s up to him to decide if there was a rematch.
‘Nah, it’s either going to [both of us having rematch clauses] or none at all. There is going to a rematch or no rematch at all. It’s crazy.
‘How you going to send a contract like that? It was simple things that they could not answer. It ain’t that they couldn’t, it’s that they wouldn’t.Comment
