Wilder came out and said publicly that he accepted an offer - But you still want to go back to an offer previous to that which was not accepted?

      Alright

Has nothing to do with anything. Extensions are irrelevant. They have nothing to do with exemptions. There's no such thing as being ordered to make a deal within 24 hours. If the WBA is fed up, they'll schedule a purse bid. Scheduling a purse bid usually takes at least a week or two. Plenty of time to sign the Wilder fight. Which is why we know Hearn is full of **** for saying he can't fight Wilder now and Povetkin is definitely happening next. It's definitely happening next because that's what Hearn wanted all along.

Why didn't Wilder hurry up and sign his deal then? Why did he stop if the deal could be made?
How can he hurry up and sign his deal while he's waiting for Hearn to tell him the date? Only for Hearn to end up telling him the date is April 2019 and they're definitely fighting Povetkin next. There's nothing else Wilder could have done to try to make this fight happen next. He gave in on everything and they still ducked him.

Receiving something on Monday and saying you'll send on Friday is not a whole week. Not to mention it takes time to have lawyers comb through everything to make sure it's kosher.

Not that any of this even matters because Hearn refused to give a 2018 date. He stalled and stalled before finally admitting April 2019 was the soonest he was willing to do the fight.

Please stop with the date BS.

They know it's in October or November. Why isn't Wilder signing the fight today? He still has all this time right? Because the WBA are willing to still make it.

If I was Deontay I would hurry up and sign the contract.

It's a whole work week. If you think it takes lawyers 5 working days to come back with comments on such an important contract when you know you're under time pressure, you're on crack.

Or they just need new lawyers.

What they "know" and what's in the contract are two different things. Eddie could have put in the contract "at a venue to be determined on a date in October or November." He didn't do that. They waited and waited for a date until he finally admitted the date would be April 2019 and that they were fighting Povetkin first no matter what.

Why isn't Wilder signing the fight today?
Because Hearn has already told Finkel they're fighting Povetkin next and the soonest their willing to fight Wilder is April 2019. So signing the fight today would obligate him to April 2019 as that is the date Eddie ended up picking.

If you receive on Monday and promise to send back Friday, that only leaves Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as full days for the lawyers to meticulously go over a massive multimillion dollar deal.

Meanwhile, Eddie was still refusing to say when the fight would be until finally admitting it would be April 2019. At that point, there was no reason to sign anymore. Eddie had swerved them and went with the Povetkin fight.

                      t.
They already had the contract for a month, their lawyers don't need to go over the entire thing again, they simply need to make 2 small *********s which could have easily been done in less than 24 hours.
