You may be right. I have no idea what's happening behind the scenes.

Obviously in the UK Matchroom is and always was a big sporting name - they do all kinds of sports here. So they have a big advantage just in terms of trust.

It also seems like Lou Dibella will promote shows on DAZN. It might help them.

you dont believe hearn..fine, fair enough. but at least watch the interview and pick your on bits out of it instead of making up rulings yourself. he's actually been extremely open about the whole thing from srat to finish in the interview today
The contract did not specify that Wilder-AJ was next. So he was going to fight Povetkin all along. Why not just turn down the $50M and say ‘not til next year’ in the first place?

Wilder was willing to accept the $15M flat fee with a two-way rematch clause to fight AJ NEXT — this fall. Hearn hasn’t offered a two-way rematch clause and wanted Wilder to wait. No dice.

They’ll start over negotiations in the spring. If AJ wants the fight, he’ll take the $50M. It’s never been taken off the table either.

You must be ****ing moron. Do you really think if Wilder signed the contract Eddie would come out and aha Povetkin is next!? Hearn had repeatedly said the fight would be in October/November in Cardiff. As Eddie said in his interview, the rematch clause was in the initial term sheet when Wilder accepted the offer so why now is the rematch clause an issue?

Me Personally, I would take that deal if I'm Wilder IF it is real and the Contract needs to say EXACTLY THAT! $5 Million vs Opponent Of My Choice In September/October 2018 and Anthony Joshua Guaranteed in April 2019 with Date and Venue SET! Don't say one thing publicly then when the contract comes back things are worded totally different.

Hearn told Finkel the fight WAS next .

              The result ?

"I'll get back to you in a few days " lol

Why would Joshua take a 50 Million offer if he wants the fight next when he will make nearly that in the U.K in 2019 against Wilder ? As Wilders purse would also inflate , hence Hearns extra 5 Million offer now .

You guys really dont put much thought process in logical circumstances do you ? smh

Wilder will retire in the next 5 or so years, he's already 32.

He should be in the money making business right now-
He is in the money making business. Not like he's broke. So he can decide whether he wants to work with someone he hates who he may feel just gave him the shaft. Basically help him get his business off the ground because Wilder is far more popular in the US than Joshua. No way is Wilder going to do that.

Why were ppl mistaking him for a basketball player IN THE BARKLEY CENTER at his OWN fight ?

Joshua IS more popular all around the board including the U.S !

He's also said he offered Wilder a bonus 5million for his next fight against Breazele or someone even easier (presumably on DAZN) as a tick over.

However, it'll be very interesting to see if Wilder moves ahead and still signs this deal.

If he doesn't we know who's been BSing us all along.
So that means that they will actually pay 5 million extra for Wilder to fight anybody else?

They don't take the 50million + and pay him an extra 5 million not to fight him next. Enough said
