Briggs was 273 against Koval he was 1dimensional an was running out of steam before he caught Koval

his handspeed will be slown down if he comes in at 273

but if he comes in around 235 he has a good chance for aroun 5rounds the question is when he runs out of steam will Klitschko be tiring so this is a pick-em fight but Klitschko should be just favoured

This will be it for Briggs.
It sure doesn't take much to earn a title fight does it.

Dammit, finally Briggs is getting a title shot.

Is this already confirmed. Any link?

Props to both fighters for taking this fight if it's for real.

Wlad Klit, will never be what was supposed to be years ago.
He has been exposed, & is always one round or one punch away from disaster...

But goddamn, he has nothing on Shannon Briggs in the FRAUD department.

Briggs, is as big a hype job as any fighter in history.
He has lost every significant fight he's been in, with the exception of the ludicrous decision win over Big George.

Briggs couldn't even beat FRANS BOTHA, who battered & floored him down the stretch.

....This is the article from a competing website below. I agree that Briggs may be dangerous for the first couple of rounds, but Wlad's chin is underated and he gets to much **** for it being weak. I think Wlad pummels Briggs and beats him from pillar to post and drops him before round 6.

It appears that a fight between IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and Shannon Briggs is moving forward with a good possibility of getting made. In a recent interview with Emanuel Steward here on **********, Steward, who tains Klitschko, said that it's looks like Shannon Briggs is a front runner. The venue would be Madison Square Garden in New York City and Briggs' roots in the Big Apple make it a good fit. Steward admits that Briggs would be a dangerous opponent, especially early on in the fight. ********** also spoke with Shannon Briggs, and he confirmed to us that negotiations are currently taking place, but nothing is signed as of yet. ********** understands that Klitschko's negotiator, Shelly Finkel, is traveling on business for Manny Pacquiao, so the fight cannot be signed until he returns. However, the fight tentatively scheduled for November 11,

This fight isn't even signed. I say Klitchko's camp moves on towards the unification process. Briggs has lost every big fight he has had.

...I would also be disappointed in that far off date. Wlad was starting to get really active and now he is going to wait until November to fight?

i dunno whats with some people's promoters and getting them timely fights. I wanna see Wlad run the gammot and take all the belts within a year or year and a half. Not this 6 months off, 6 on crap
