Comments Thread For: Kiryl Relikh Confirmed For World Boxing Super Series at 140

WBA World Champion Kiryl Relikh is the first announced fighter for the 140lb edition of the second season of the World Boxing Super Series. 28-year-old Relikh (22-2, 19 KOs) from Baranovichi, Belarus and fighting out of Minsk won the vacant WBA 140-pound title in March with a one-sided unanimous decision victory over Cuba's two-division titleholder Rances Barthelemy.

With Showtime having 3 home grown fighters (Relikh, Baranchyk, and Prograis) out of the 8 contestants, and a connection to Richard Schaefer, you would think they would be all over this!!! Would rather see Mikey Garcia in this tournament, rather than fighting Easter! I hope Josh Taylor decides to join instead of hoping for Ramirez! This is going to be good!

Could be the best WBSS tourney yet IF all the main boys sign up. I'm getting excited.

This guy only seems to fight about once a year, so may struggle with the schedule. Hopefully Hooker signs up.

Relikh has become a beast, he's getting better and better with each fight, throws a ton of punches. He's going to be a hard night for anybody, looking forward to seeing who he picks in the first round

MIkey, if he beats Easter Jr., will be sitting around waiting on Lomachenko, which would suck! I would hope he fights Linares next!
