Comments Thread For: Promoter: Fans Should Be Happy; Joshua-Povetkin '50-50 Fight'

Anthony Joshua-Deontay Wilder is the heavyweight fight fans want to see more than any other. One of Alexander Povetkin's promoters has advised them not to sleep on the heavyweight fight they're more likely to see first. Vadim Kornilov, who works for Andrey Ryabinskiy's World of Boxing (Povetkin's promoter), even suggested Joshua-Povetkin will be "much more competitive and exciting" than a bout between undefeated champions who've combined to knock out 97 percent of their opponents.

If Joshua stops Povetkin that's a huge statement.

I'll be happy if they forget that DIZZY thing and put this fight on ESPN. There's no market for it here and a dismal response will just turn into another excuse.

TWO failed test. As long as his name isn’t Mayweather or isn’t affiliated with Haymon/SHO the fans and media don’t care. All the PED crusaders left the sport once Floyd retired.
