Heavyweight contender Bryant "B.Y." Jennings was born and bred in Philadelphia, but on Saturday, August 18, he aims to bring some of that Philly firepower to the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Jennings (23-2, 13 KOs) will face off against Alexander "Sascha" Dimitrenko (41-3, 26 KOs) for the WBO International heavyweight title in the 12-round main event at the Ocean Resort Casino's Ovation Hall. This will be the first boxing event at the Ocean Resort Casino, a state-of-the-art resort property set to open tomorrow, June 28.

At least Bob keeps them active. This will be Jennings's 5th fight in 365 days.

It leaves enough time in the year for another fight for Jennings and Hart. Maybe they'll get good opponents then.

For real. I realize Jennings had the Parker fight pulled out from under him...but damn.

The win over Granat was a fluke. He threw a hail mary right that caught Granat. He was looking timid up til that point. His next opponent he needed his opponent to get 3 points deducted just to score a draw. He appealled the decision & said he should win by DQ. He won the appeal but anyone who watched that fight knows he looked terrible & he went down like he got shot from a late tap after the bell. The ref even thought he was faking. It was embarassing. Jennings will crush him in a few rounds. Sasha will run & hug...

Good for Bryant, it’ll reflect within the rankings. I hope the winner is moved towards a title eliminator or a meaningful fight in the least.

Ruiz vs Jennings for a crack at a title wouldn’t be a bad fight in the least if Andy has been keeping in shape as he should have been doing and keeping busy like Bryant since he lost to Parker.

Jennings isn’t known in the least for packing a punch, you believe he stops him ?

Two mismatches, both probably ending in KO's. Hopefully this is just a springboard to bigger fights for these guys
