Comments Thread For: Valdez's Return Uncertain, Manager Says They Want Frampton

WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez (24-0, 19 KOs) paid a heavy price in beating Scott Quigg on March 10th on a rainy, wet night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Facing a fighter who failed to make the 126-pound weight limit and then came in at 142 pounds on fight night, Valdez suffered a fractured jaw.

Valdez is much watch Boxing I am eagerly anticipating his safe return. I just hope he ditches Manuel Robles.

Valdez proved that night he has the heart of a warrior but I feel like his injury will have repercussions for him in his next fight. Hopefully that won't be the case. I agree with you boxfan83, he should leave Manny Robles cause his defense is no bueno

Valdez gets stopped early in this one, take Frampton & the under, I’d say 6 rounds and his jaw is broken again and the Jackal finishes him

take your time champ, i hate to see mismatches and pointless fights but Oscar needs a light touch on his return, hes been in some brutal wars in his previous half a dozen fights and hes still relatively early in his career...

Any man who goes through what Oscar did in his last fight showing a true warrior heart is not going quietly in the night. He will get his pound of flesh against anyone, Frampton included. Frampton will know when he wakes up the next morning that he was in a fight. Oscar is no easy pass for anyone.

His last couple fights have been pretty brutal he should just fight Donaire or Oscar Escandon next.

Oscar Valdez should not go on fighting weight cheaters unless he is a Mexican mighty meaty on the go.

If Donaire landed a hook on Oscar's chin it will surely TKO and finish!?!
