I wonder about the quality of the sparring he gets now. Is this just a group of young Phillipine dudes in awe of the great Manny Paquiao or does he have decent quality experienced pro sparring partners?

He has decent quality.
He has an Australian light weight sparring with him for quickness i pressume. The same Australian is fighting on the under-card.
I dont think Manny is that arrogant to not have decent sparring partners.

Because he just knocked out Mannys' arse why would he fight in the Philippines. Manny should have offered to fight in Mexico. The series ended with no necessary decision by judges. Figure out that Manny no longer with the A side after getting knocked out. Plus he knocked out his fan base .... he left them with a memory/ taste they will never forget.. Priceless
