    Is Lacy fighting Tarver?

Im not sure but I think I saw a thread on here recently about it or I read a article about it somewhere.

Anyways, it just caught my eye again because I know that Arum wants Floyd-Margarito on Oct. 7th but I just saw in S.I. that they said Lacy will fight Tarver on that same date.

Can someone tell me if you know anything about it?

If they do fight at 175 then who do you like? This is a hard fight to pick as both are coming off of ass whoopings and its dangerous for both fighters but Lacy e****ally because Tarver is old so its understandable but Lacy is young and could have alot of more fights. He doesnt need 2 hard ones in a row.

I think Lacy may have a lack of confidence after the Calzaghe fight but I will pick him by a KO for one reason only and I was going to make a thread about this the other day. I was going to make a thread saying that Tarver better retire or else he will look like a fool. You know why? He got alot of credit for beating a ruining RJ but I think it was the weight that did it.

Now if Tarver fights again, I bet he looks like complete **** just like RJ did and he will have nothing and get KO by Lacy and he will look like a bum for getting killed 2 fights in a row and if he blames it on the weight then everyone will say that your wins over RJ means nothing because now you look just like him and are expercing the same things he is.

it has been rumored......nothing more.Lacy needs to fight a tune-up as does Tarver if that was to happen IMO.

I agree, Lacy does need a tune up fight to get his confidence back

I'd say Lacy overpowers a less than confident Tarver

Tarver responds well after loses, notably between Jones and Johnson. Lacy on the other hand just had his confidence shattered, and quite frankly -- I don't think Lacy is going to recover from that loss. Tarver with a relatively easy UD.

Lacy may not recover from that loss but I still say that the weight loss killed RJ and he was never the same and the same will happened to Tarver. He may have bounced back from regular losses but he never had to bounce back from a weight loss and I dont think Tarver will ever been any good again and if he fought Glen Johnson right now then I would put money on a Glen Johnson KO
