I realize that everyone is supposed to hate AJ but according to the article Wilder never signed.

      Did I miss something?

"It appears the Wilder team have not returned the contract for the fight and therefore we are requesting a date for the Joshua versus Povetkin fight with immediate effect."

Looks like it, disappointing isn't it?

Finkle sent the contract back unsigned. He wanted changes done to it so Hearn was going to have to draw up another contract and send it back again. But you know what would have happened if the WBA wasn't enforcing their mandatory and they were still negotiating? Finkle would have sent it back saying he wanted more changes.

Hearn warned Finkle that he had the WBA breathing down his neck so time was of the essence. Didn't stop them from being slow and waiting 4 weeks before accepting the offer.

I knew Finlke was going to run out the clock and force Joshua to fight his mandatory. Very predictable.

Insults a whole nation because you want get to see your favourite fighter fight. Too much feminine emotions in your words. How can you keep saying the same thing over and over again and expect anyone to listen to you? I will be the first to admit AJ is afraid to fight Wilder in America. There is no explanation for turning down 50 million.Whether he gets a hard on having 90,000 Brits screaming for him but the fact is he is in a position to demand what he wants and I don’t blame him frankly. But he holds a L In terms of that manoeuvre. Eddie has also talked way too much and complained and painted the distorted picture that Joshua is panicking. As it stands does Wilder have the contract? If it is with Eddie and he is yet to send it I will apologise and have to agree with you but if it is with Deontay and still unsigned why should anyone be annoyed. I’m Team Joshua but I like Wilder I’m not a patriotic type they are both of Nigerian descent as am I so I support them but it’s puzzling Why Wilder has not signed then at least exposed Joshua further. He can’t call him a coward when he is yet to sign a contract that he agreed in principle.... I don’t even like the words “ I tried my best” he didn’t neither did Joshua

Then Finkle should have hurried up and conducted business quicker shouldn't he?

How is the WBA enforcing their mandatory AJ and Hearn's fault exactly?

Hearn was trying to get the DAZN thing done behind the scenes the whole time. I don't knock him for trying to please a guy like Len Blavatnik but it would have been better to just state their current interest. The run around over the last few months has been exhausting and pointless.
lets see the WBA just enforced the Leo-Mares rematch, GGG-Jacobs, etc
