I still feel bad for Ali. All he had to do was wait for Liam Smith to heal up, beat him (very feasible) and then wait for Hearn to buy the belt from him for Brook.

That was an egregious set up. His inner circle needs to be replaced. They walked right into a blatant set up and just let it happen.

How did they not have more info about that guy? And look, the kid is on a Golden Boy card to fight Smith. Smh

This is a very interesting card top to bottom.

Andrade and Falcao both had very good amateur careers. Falcao was a Bronze winner I believe and is I believe the naturally bigger man.

I really hope this isn't going to be a snooze fest and hopefully one if not both go for broke and make the most of this chance.

Andrade especially needs to show out.

Exactly! And no one was going to be mad at Ali for sitting on the belt until Hearn buys it from him. We all knew he was indeed too small for 154lbs and that he just caught a fading Cotto at the right time. He would have had basically no pressure to unify against Charlo or Hurd especially for short money.

It’s easy to crap on guys like GGG or Wilder for less than stellar opponent selection, but jeez Andrade and his team are the worst. It’s so frustrating to watch a guy that you think could be something real special just continually have layoffs and then jokes of fights. He hasn’t even gotten to the point where we wonder what could have been. At this point if he retired he’d be very forgettable.
