    Claressa Shields' most difficult professional fight also drew her highest ratings. According to ratings released Tuesday by Nielsen Media Research, Shields' victory over Hanna Gabriels drew a peak audience of 410,000 on Friday night. Their 10-round, 160-pound championship match was watched by an average audience of 376,000.

      Great news! She's the key unlocking a lot of untapped potential. I know more women who go to boxing and kickboxing classes than men. Sure it's not a purist crowd but they spend money.

      They need to push her even harder. You get women to start following her and just watch what happens to the following for men. Just make her the lead in for guys like Spence.

            I've been a boxing fan my whole life and this is the first year I've made an active effort to follow women's boxing. With fighters like Braekhus, Shields, and Hammer out there it's been worth the effort so far.

                That is HUGE for Women Boxing! Doing a great job showcasing Christina Hammer and Shields on the same card. I do think Hanna Gabriels deserves a instant rematch though instead of just rushing to the Hammer fight
