I'd say for sure Ruben Olivares, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Arturo Gatti, Evander Holyfield were more consistently entertaining and probably have larger lists of great fights.

Of recent times you've also got the Marquez brothers, Erik Morales, Tito Trinidad, Israel Vazquez just to name a few in recent years that were at least as entertaining IMO.

That sounds embarrassingly jaded. I think you're above that. Or, I hope at least.

Pad indeed gave us some of the most entertaining fights of the last dozen years. Just because some of his fans are obnoxious or because he fought people we like doesn't mean we need to lie about the guy.

Definitely one of the most exciting fighters ever. The only boring fight that I remember Pacquiao being in was the Clottey fight and that was because Clottey kept his guard up the whole time and refused to engage.

You don't think Olivares and Saad for example were involved in better fights?

I thought Pacquaio was extremely entertaining and enjoyed his career but for me I considered those guys at least comparable in excitement levels and some just about as entertaining.

Pac has most definitely had a entertaining career... after he lost to Erik Morales in 2005. he went on arguably one of the most entertaining runs in boxing history..... where he closed it out with a sub part win in terms of action against sugar Shane Mosely

All of them were in so many great fights and were such exciting fighters it's hard chose one over the others. For consistent excitement it's hard to top Trinidad.

Will always be one of my favorites because of all the exciting fights he gave us. While at this point in his career Manny has slowed down I still get excited for his fights. Shame that some people here seem to not give him credit for how amazing and more importantly how exciting his run was in those prime years.

                  War Pacman!!!
