Absolutely no urgency shown by either side to get this fight made. Looks like the money-men got what they want and the fans will have to wait. I honestly wouldn't have a problem with this except for the fact that Povetkin could definitely spoil the party by finding his way inside Joshua's guard and chinning him.

This statement from Hearn should be all you guys need to hear to understand where the BS is coming from. What promoter, KNOWING that the other side has responded to him on multiple occasions publicly makes a statement like this. Even ODLH had a better response than this. Biggest fight in boxing is in jeopardy because of the WBA and all you can do is point the finger and misrepresent the facts. You would think that he'd say "man we were almost there" or something similar. Instead its, the contract didn't get signed and they've had it for 9 days (misrepresentation since its only been a week, he's probably counting from when he said he was going to provide it and forgot he was late).

Notice how we hadn't heard from the WBA and then out of the blue, a 24 hour deadline. Let this sink in, the WBA headquarters in Panama is an hour behind Eastern Standard Time.
