Joshua will rightfully be the favorite for that fight. But Joshua is very up and down no special effects (Floyd voice). But he's up and down with really good power and good fundamentals. This to me plays out two ways. Either Joshua schools him, or it is Mayorga vs Forrest all over again. Like Joshua, Forrest had a nice 1-2 and was fundamentally sound, but had little creativity. Joshua is the same way, and Wilder's awkward style could be his downfall. Mayweather will struggle more against a wild Maidana style over a sound boxer like Canelo. Could be the same for Joshua. Bring on this mega HW showdown......in 2019 on DAZN!

Well put, this is why am picking Wilder to win this showdown. And the fact that AJ is still an up and comer who had to be rush. If he took the Wilder route of mediocre opponents for say 7 years, then he would definitely have a better chance than am giving him. I personally think he needs more fights to learn before facing Wilder, the parker fight is one of those learning curve, a fighter who is there to frustrate you, a fighter who wouldn't let you to get comfortable, the takam fight is also a good learner, headbutted early, having to get his mental state sorted out. He has already been hit and won against Wlad so he knows how to deal with that sort of thing.
