    Al bernstein

How do you watch live boxing for over 15 years and still not know anything about the sport?

I disagree. For someone with no fighting experience himself. Al is a very good analyst.

I usually feel that way, but he was unbelievably bad yesterday. Clearly following "the script". Sad it's come to this.

Al has been a commentator for more than 15 years easily more than that. My guess is 35 years or more. He's very good and generally honest. Everyone can have an off day. I haven't seen the fight you mentioned but Al historically was an excellent analyst.

He's been around aot longer than 15 years. I think he's been on Showtime 15 years. He's changed. He used to be much better, now he's a suit with a script. He used to be the best with great insight, you just don't lose that. Once he got on the bigger networks he fell apart. Jmo.

Al started with espn's very first shows at the Ice Palace in Totowa
N.J. and think that started in 1978 or so.
If the OP thinks he's been around for 15 years how much does the OP know?
Bernstein is ok, he rarely gets in the way of the show and he knows whats lacking in a fight that should be good when it's not!
I like Bernstein with Paulie because they won't get in each others way.
I met Al at the Ice Palace back in the day and he always handled himself very well.

--- Pauli a sissy with a big mouth who couldn't squash a bug.

Al used to be one of the more credible announcers until hitting the big time. Boxing has the worst announcers of any sport. They degrade honorable fighters and they won't shut up!

I watch boxing, so now I mute the sound of their gibber drowning out the sound of landed punches, a real shame that.

Boxing is a dying sport run by crooks who don't care that most of us see how flagrantly dishonest they are disguised as abject ******ity.

I prefer REAL boxers commentators. I don’t always agree with all th commentators but I can’t believe all these vaginas on here who ph***n get there panties in a bunch enough to start a boxing thread. What happened to MEN?
