Once someone destroys you in the amateurs you will be intimidated by that fighter in the pros. That's why Rock Newman would never let Bowe fight LewisComment

What should I tell you? What's obvious already? Maybe you lack some reasoning/logic skills, I don't know...
It doesn't matter. If boxer_a OWNED boxer_b even in sparring, it can be used as an argument in discussions.
If a boxer had a very sad ama background it can be brought as an argument in discussions.Comment

Because fans use these fights to legitimize their opinion especially when it helps their reasoning.
I say ams and sparring have no consequence to any argument in the pros.Comment

''of course it matters !!!!!''Comment

If they fought just a year ago in the ams would it matter in the pros? Of course.
Fans simply use them part of their basis to what could be the outcome of a pro fight. Esp if the fighter’s styles haven’t change a lot since meeting in the ams.
If they solely base on that then that’s their mistake.
Fighter’s history is important but only to an extent.Comment
