As everyone has said, the scoring was a bit dodgy but overall a great win in only his 13th pro fight for Taylor who is definitely on his way to a version of the title. I also thought Postol showed enough to suggest that even at 34 he's still got a lot to offer.

Hometown edge, 2 or 3 points out the gate. Thats to be expected, but I don't see the second coming. That was harder than it should have been.

Taylor has only had 12 fights up that point. Postal was on his game and made it difficult, but Taylor showed why people talk about him by coming through.

I had it 6-3-3 for Taylor. Throw in the 10/8 round and you have a pretty clear win for Taylor.


Judges in the UK get it right most of the time. The US is where it's corrupt to high heaven. But you already knew that which is why you're trying to make out we're as corrupt as you are. Try and hide your bitterness next time, don't make it so obvious.

Postol took rounds 1,3,4,6,7,8, and 11 by controlling distance and outlanding taylor, taylor has some good shots in the 3rd,8th, and 11th that made the rounds look close but it wasn’t enough to deminish postols work.

If I can't split them, why would I score the round to one of the fighters? And which fighter gets the round?


That's the only way you're going to get a proper reading on events.
