Still... damn impressive for Taylor given his relative lack of pro experience. There were definitely points when Josh was feeling the strain of dealing with a world class veteran and I almost expected him to fold once or twice. This experience will stand him in great stead going forward.
... I thought that Postol would win, but not in Glasgow...

I think Al Bernstein works for Showtime, therefore he had no dog in the fight...

It's not totally about how bias other commentators are. I just found his analysis and description of what was going on to be on-point.... really great commentary, and perfect to watch a fight to.

Even his post-fight stuff was great, really knows his stuff.

The Taylor up to round 8 isn't ready for Prograis, no way. The Taylor of 9 - 12 is still two or three fights away from being a peak or nearly peak Taylor that could give Regis a good test. I hope they don't get carried away and think he's ready now - coz he ain't. He's developing super fast but he still looks a little green.

After 8 rounds I had Vik 6 - 2 up, and on my card Josh needed 9 - 12 plus a knockdown and hey presto! he delivers the goods. Had that been in Ukraine, it could easily have went against JT. He's not the finished article quite yet, imo. Still a good 3 fights away from that if he improves some more. We'll see.
