Some good points. GGG does have a habit of following his opponent around for the whole fight. Which is not that good of a 'game plan'. He should do more counter punching, yes, and cutting off the ring. Otherwise he will never be as effective as he could be. But, yes, 36 years old is past the point of no return for learning pointers. His fans do love him though... because he's almost always in action fights. Can't blame them. But I do think GGG fans listen to HBO commentators lavishing praise and consider it full blown gospel.

Canelo IMO didn't really run, he just had some improved slick defensive moves that were really quite effective. Again, GGG fans will always disagree, but, again, that's ok. Canelo's biggest flaw was not enough activity mid rounds. But if he has a good enough S&C coach this time, he shouldn't have that problem this time. I expect a clear win for Canelo if not a late TKO.

For Gennady hes got accept the fact hes going to get countered and GO TO THE BODY.

For Canelo better stamina, slightly increased workrate, keep fight in center of ring (take less breaks/stamina issues), and set more traps.

Should be good either way

Love GGG and have no opinion one way or another on Abel, but...

Wje6n are these managers and promoters gonna start to realize that no pro athlete at this level, let alone a future hall of Famer, is gonna fall for an obvious attempt at reverse psychology like this? Take this with a grain of salt if you need to, but I have to disagree with most pundits saying Canelo gets a KO in the rematch (barring abrupt meeting with father time). Dont get me wrong. I'm a fan of GGG, but I'm not a Canelo hater (although im su****ious of his "contaminated meat" excuse) so hopefully this doesnt come off as biased: GGG clearly, at least to me, was way more hesitant to pull the trigger in the earlier rounds than normal and seemed to feel Canelo out longer than past opponents I'm assuming out of respect for his pedigree and power, but it also seemed once he took some of Canelos best shots he immediately started going back to his uber aggressive self, stealing the later rounds which may have saved his ass from a loss. With that said I think hes much more confident going in to the rematch and starts off a little more agressive and shortens his feeling out process this time just enough to gauge any possible changes in game plan from Canelo and ultimately gets the UD or KO/TKO in the championship rounds. Just my opinion. Feel free to bash it if need be 😎

yeah i reckon thats a really clever bet on canelo to stop someone who he hit with his best shot and it didnt do anything. a guy whos never been wobbled. make sure you stick plenty of money on that one cause you are onto a winner

Actually the guys been a bit wobbled in his last four fights.
His experience allows him to mask when hes been buzzed but he has been hurt 4 fights in a row.
