Money managers around the world will be crapping themselves from Oscar through to fast Eddie on how Spence is making it clear his intentions to fight the top guys without paying silly money to guys who quite often do not deserve the massive money payed to them.It's plain to see unbeaten Spence is popular with the way he calls them out and means it,the paying public believe this guy .He is setting himself up for massive PPV's and is keeping his name mainstream with his impressive performances and intentions.I haven't seen a promoter take a beating since Mike had hold of Don King.....but that was worth waiting for.

Lamont Peterson was off for 11 months, and he won the WBA regular title in that fight. So Peterson gave up the belt you clowns are calling for Crawford to fight for, in order to fight Spence. So no, he wasn't inactive for 2 years.

And by that same token, Spence hadn't fought in 8 mos. when he and Lamont fought.

I disagree! Spence's win over Brook in the UK was more impressive than Crawford's win over Horn and Indongo! I saw the Pacquiao fight the same way Teddy Atlas saw the fight! Did you see what Prograis just did to Indongo? Mikey Garcia beat Broner and Lipinets @ 140, and I would make him the underdog vs. Spence, just like I would make Crawford the underdog, if ether one were to fight Spence in 2018!

1st, Nobody in the top 5 will fight Spence on the cheap so forget that nonsense. There's no incentive if Danny can earn the same fighting Brandon Rios. Second, Spence refuses to VADA test which means he's not ranked in the WBC. Lastly, when did Spence become a household name...Ocompo? Spence is good but he's a Haymon fighter in a Haymon world. Make no mistake, the Haymon playbook is not about legacy or best fighting the best nonsense it's about max upfront money fighting nobodies and self promotion. Broner can self promote and that's why he makes more than Spence and always will. I realize this is contradictory to Spence / Crawford way of thinking but even they are forced to fight within the rules of the Haymon era.

Thurman is a special fighter too but also has depth and many, many other interests and paths in his life. I'd like to see him make a few $$$ fighting named competition and then retire unbeaten, like Floyd. Make a come back for ****** money fighting a big mouth MMA guy or exhibition fight and live his life because unlike most fighters....Thurman has a real life that's worth more than boxing

Spence's win over a guy that had this skull smahed in during his previous fight was predictable. NOBODY thought Brook would be anything more than Horn, just a stiff test. Indongo was exposed by Crawford and like Brook, Indongo took a beating in his previous fight so it was no surprise when he lost to Prograis. Mikey is a 135 / 140lb fighter with a big head and he would be the underdog fighting any top 10 WW which in context...nullifies your argument.
