brandon rios vs victor ortiz in august

brandon rios and victor ortiz are not the fighters they once were but brandon rios went on esnews and confirmed that al haymon and the two camps are finalizing a fight in august.this wont be what it once would of been but it still will be a fight of the year caliber fight.

their love hate history and the rivalry add to this fights intrigue for many people still today. boxing is not dead because we got fights like this capable of taking place.

if this fight happens and their is a decisive winner. i would love to see the winner take on adrian broner(even ive seen reports that broner is retired).

Lots of bad blood there. They should have fought 7 years ago.

Of course I do! I want to see them settle their bad blood.
I just wanted to see it sooner, but I’ll definitely watch them go to war..

Rios was doing alright against Garcia for several rounds, if he can show up in similar form and a little more lean, he has a shot. Otherwise, I think I favor Ortiz.

This will definitely be better than Mares vs. Santa Cruz.

I think Ortiz would win. He is much bigger and a big welterweight and he hits very hard. Ortiz never had a good chin but Rios no longer has his iron jaw. Rios has taken more punishment and is even more shot than Ortiz. Rios has become so easy to hit that Ortiz nails him with some bombs and knocks him out. Rios could win but I favor Ortiz. It doesn't matter much. Neither guy is important or a contender now.i

lol who wants to see this cluster buck of a fight. Victor is garbage and rios sucks. Rios smashes this dude by submission. Ie Victor gives up as usual.

So many diff factors in this fight. Rios has admitted before he doesnt like fighting southpaws and victor is southpaw. Rios had an iron chin but did danny crack it is it still the same? Will victor mentally check out when brandons pressure begins to be too much? Will victor quit if he gets a cut? I believe victor keeps himself in better shape when he doesnt have a fight signed compared to rios. Interesting fight idk who to take to be honest.
