Tommy Coyle (24-4, 12 KOs) has vacated his Commonwealth title. The belt, which he won on April 21 in Liverpool against Sean Dodd (15-3-1, 3 KOs), will be contested by Dodd - the former champion - and Joe Cordina (7-0, 6 KOs) on a Matchroom NXTGEN show on August 4 at the Ice Arena, Cardiff.

Nice step up for Cordina, Masher got eaten up against Coyle, hopefully he still has something left, he could give Cordina a test

This is ridiculous & stinks of British monopoly! Cordina should be fighting Welsh titlist Gavin Gwynne, While Masher takes on English belt holder Myron Mills. There's 53 countries in the Commonwealth, so why don't the likes of Kye McKenzie, Tony Luis, George kambosas Jnr & Xolisani Ndongeni get a look in @ 135Lb?
