More likely that the damage was already too bad to be adequately repaired by surgery. Shane was already an old man in boxing years when he fought Floyd and that feels like an eternity ago now. I guess the facts will come out if it gets to court.

Shane was 45 years old when he had this surgery, his career was already over. And youre telling me that its a surprise that a surgery may not go as planned on a 45 year old athlete and may make it worse?
