Unfortunately Bob is right! It will take a guaranteed $4.5-$6.5 million for Crawford and a guaranteed $3-$4 million for Spence! No tv network or promoter will be willing to pay that type of money for regular tv. I don't see this fight happening anytime within the next two years! Spence has made it clear that he wants to fight Thurman and the Garcia/Porter winner but he will not get those fights anytime soon. The Porter/Garcia winner will ask for triple the amount to give up that WBC title to Spence. I'm talking $4-6 million guaranteed in which that fight is not worth that amount of money! Spence will not get Thurman before fall 2019 which means his could possibly get Thurman in 2020 or never!

We won't see this fight till 2020, hopefully Spence can still make 147 healthy and Bud isn't past his prime by much!

You see Spence has been calling for a shot at the WBC title for literally years. He isn't paying thousands or tens of thousands when he doesn't have to.

I would like to see Loma enroll in VADA. Loma seems to want to fight everyone except for the WBC champs. That is odd.

If Spence is juicing why is he so intent on fighting for the WBC belt and enrolling in it???

I get it though, Spence is with Haymon and is p4p Champ. You need to say something degrading, and he is so damn good, you can't say anything about his skills.
Mikey Garcias is the WBC champ.

It's funny how boxing works. You can get 2 elite undefeated guys in their primes and they won't generate anywhere near half a mil ppv buys. Meanwhile the biggest ppv draw in boxing is a draw mainly based off national pride because he hasn't done anything overly impressive in the ring in yrs.

If McGregor and Mayweather did 4 million ppvs even though a lot of people stream it, i think it will do fine. Just do it in Vegas, hopefully with seats it can do enough to pay them.

Errol Spence Jr just sold out the Cowboys training facility of 12500 for his mandatory defense against an unknown at $500-$50, and had Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys singing his praises.

If Danny Garcia beats Shawn Porter (I think Garcia wins), Spence-Garcia (if it doesn't end up at Barclays Center or with MGM Resorts) is the type of fight that you could take to AT&T Stadium and draw well with.

The TV money will be what it'll be, but why are folks trying to act as if Spence Jr isn't currently in a position to start drawing really big money, even without having to banter with Top Rank.

Horn-Crawford, according to Dan Rafael, put 8000 people into a building for 16500, Crawford growing his profile from that is made more difficult without Manny Pacquiao fighting him under the Top Rank banner.

If Errol Spence Jr emerges as the WBC/WBA/IBF 147lb champion and the top dog that he's supposed to be, there should be plenty of money available for Crawford to fight under Errol Spence Jr's banner and earn fair money.

Showtime can make Thurman/Garcia Thurman/Porter Garcia/Porter and other fights between 2 big names but Arum and other networks can only put on big fights between two top fighters on PPV.

What do that mean, I am an African American, and there is plenty of excitement about the sport already.

This fight is for everyone, color does not matter.
