Who was better, Lewis or Wlad?

Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko have a lot in common. They were both tall, hard-punching HWs with weak chins, they were both dominant HWs, and they were both trained by Emanuel Steward. But, who was the better fighter between them?

Lewis better by a large margin. Movement combinations willingness to mix it up without grabbing with two hands.
I think Wlad exceeded his goals and was successful for many years but his competition level was the weakest ever!

Lewis fought better competition and simple had better skills.

Lennox Lewis would have destroyed Wladimir Klitschko. Stylistic nightmare for Wlad.

Lewis, clearly. And I was always a fan of Wlad (and generally of the Klitschkos).

Lewis fought everyone. He redeemed both of his KO losses. It's not even close.

--- Wlad never one punched like Lewis with a VASTLY Superior record, but admittedly Lewis and his fans make the best comedy.

Keep up the good work for the nearly lads, a new division?

Lewis along with Ali and joe louis rank as the 3 best heavyweights of all time and each one could be put at the top.
Lewis beat tyson, holyfield, vitali klitchcko, ruddock, mercer, tucker, morrison, weaver,br uno, biggs, golota and bowe in the olympic final...avenged both his losses and won the heavyweight title 3 times and retired as champion.
That record when you actually break it down is simply outstanding.
I say lewis beats any heavyweight in history.

If Lewis beat Bowe, '96 Tyson, Byrd, Moorer, Rahman and McCall the first time and retired undefeated, he'd have a strong case as the GOAT at HW.

--- Well, sometimes you need a plumber's helper, hence the need for Lewis fans.

Never once defended his unified title, a lost career after having give up consecutively every title he won.

                    Great nearly lad comedy though...priceless...
