i tihnk he still could but ....realistically....naa I'd bet on Craw. Speed merchants fade fast, even the best Jones,Leonard and Khans nowhere like their array of abilities.

Khan is a bum, but those who were speculating recently that Khan could beat Crawford will get their answer.

At 147 Khan has 3 'names' - Collazo (way past prime), Alexander (blown up LWW and past prime) and Algieri (who nearly beat him).

None of the above ever held a title at 147, and none of them are punchers.

To say Khan can beat (or even be competitive) against guys like Crawford, Spence and Thurman is patently ridiculous.

Khan has had 2 fights in the last 24 months, a brutal KO against Canelo and 1 single round against a total bum.

Yet he is ready to beat any belt holder at 147?

On what evidence is this argument based?
Nobody is saying "he could beat", just that he WAS competitive upto the point of being knocked out.

He was playing with a Garcia and had won all rounds till he got clipped.

He was winning a bunch of rounds on many people's scorecards against Canelo before tasting death for a few minutes when his skull was almost knocked off his shoulders. But the fact still remains he was competitive upto that point.

I personally believe he beat Peterson, but it was a close matchup so can't argue with the result other than Peterson being a drug cheat. Granted this and the Garcia fights were at light welter.

Everyone knows Khan isn't a world beater, he never will be with his chin. But one thing is for sure, he makes fights interesting, that's all. Nobody really gives him a chance in this fight, but I don't see a devastating knock out either because Crawford isn't a one punch knockout fighter. He wins through cumulative accurate power punches.

Pretty much how I see the fight as well Khan does have crazy speed. Like to see Crawford try and slow it down then ti.e it right.

I'll bet my left ball that Khan won't happen. He's avoided every WW for 5 years, no way he steps in with Bud.

No he wont. He called out May and Pac, then cashed out vs Nelo. You guys are delusional thinking he'd fight anyone.

I like this match up but Khan's chin will always be a factor. His speed would give Bud problems. If Khan had a good chin this would be more competitive in my opinion. Khan's weak chin has always been his downfall.

Crawford usually takes about 2-3 round to analyze you. Khan is FAST and a frontrunner so the most dangerous round for Crawford is the first 3 rounds.

Khan is no bum, he just has a awful chin. He gave Alvarez some good work

Who knows...I don't see any upside in Crawford taking this fight...too dangerous.
Kahn blows his wad in the first 2-3 rounds. After that he’s dumb and lost. Elite fighters choose him cause he’s easy to beat but more importantly they know casual boxing fans think speed is all you need.

Well that solves it. it’s BONNER.
                      Should be Thurman.
