That's not entirely true. When the May Canelo fight fell apart, lil g had the chance to make a fight with the Russian to fulfil his IBF mandatory. He declined and fought an unranked, career 154over that was inactive for two years.

Boxing has four major leagues. The best fighters are spread out across them. None of the leagues can force fighters to fight for them. If you don't enjoy IBF fights, don't watch them.
