Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew: I'll End Tyson Fury's Comeback Run, No Problem!

Former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew is very confident that he would end the comeback run of Tyson Fury (26-0, 20 KOs). Fury returned to the ring last weekend in Manchester, and stopped overmatch opponent Sefer Seferi in four rounds.

I don't think Bellew would beat this version of Fury. It's all well and good believing it in your head, but Fury is too heavy and tall for him. His shots wouldn't move Fury at all, but Fury's punches with his weight behind them would ping Bellew around the ring, even his jabs.

Don't think so, even a fit Fury had a piss-poor record of KO's. He didn't KO any top level HW's and struggled to get Journeymen like Chisora and McDermott out of there. He's just not a big puncher.

struggled to get chisora out of there? dafuq :S he was showing mercy on delboy and making sure he got the big fight against wlad that he was on the cusp of getting but he put on the most clinical schooling of delboy anybody has ever done, and ruined his face, broke his heart and face. he stopped hammer, cunningham, chisora and other than wlad they're the top heavies he's faced. Hammer went on to go 12 with povetkin, cunningham had never been stopped before been in with mansour , tarver, glowacki etc and chisora is known for his durability and good chin.

Vitali, Whyte, Helenius, Kabayel all have better Ko ration than fury(I think) but couldn't come close to getting chisora out of there only haye has done it in a better style than fury. and the mcdermott fight was how many moons ago? when he was still a prospect doesnt have much relevance now
