Spence beat a faded Brook, not the prime version that fought Porter. He was 30 years old and already struggling to make weight BEFORE he moved up to 160, GGG beat him and broke his face. Spence does not get maximum credit for that win from me as I knew Brook was a shell at that point and should have moved up.... it took him 4 months to get down to 147 ffs, top training and nutrition, aided by Sheffield University lol

Now all you guys saying Brook was garbage and fought no one use that win to put Spence as P4P elite level hahaha what a joke.
For me personally, it is logical to correct opinions that do not show respect for the sport or its fighters, such as the one that assumes that handling your mandatory fights is worthy of ridicule. When Povetkin was Wilder's mandatory, people said that Wilder was ducking, and that claim was just as ******. While I'll agree with you that equal treatment is logical, latching onto dumb ideas is not. If any fighter handles his mandatory and is ridiculed for it, then use proper logic and counter the ****** that ridiculed him in the first place. They're already doing something that 99% of people on Earth would not attempt.

    "Spence beat a faded Brook..."

Don't be one of those guys, man. Brook showed brilliance through that entire fight, from clearly taking the early rounds, to fading late and still throwing back despite being hurt. Let's not act as if he was badly dominated through 10 rounds, or that he acted as anything other than what we're used to seeing. Spence was hit very often, and Brook was likely leading up to the 7th round or so. Like I said, Spence ended up breaking him down, but he was not in control of the entire fight. Brook was clearly not drained, and clearly not faded. He simply ran into a better fighter. I'm a big Andre Ward fan, and I can admit that he fought a drained Chad Dawson, because Dawson was drained and you could clearly see it on fight night.

As far as losing weight, Roy Jones Jr did it in 6 weeks and ruined his body forever. Brook took the time to lose the weight properly, as he should have. Good on him and his camp.

"Now all you guys saying Brook was garbage..."

Save that for the people that actually said that, and make it a point not to include me in your high school garbage. A simple look through my post history will reveal that I think highly of Kell Brook, and have never made any of the claims that "you guys" make.

Are you trying to say a fighter that admitted to fighting at 70% BEFORE GGG and his training camps were literal nightmares, was NOT faded after moving up to 160, getting his eye punched in and his first defeat (totally changes mentality after suffering a loss), and then has to move away from his family and use sports science and nutrition to get back down to his 70% fighting state as not being faded, even a little?

Your argument is that Brook was the same fighter, because he won the earl;y rounds against Spence? but then faded or was "broken down" by Spence..... when literally everyone who worked for and with Brook disagrees. The nutritionist, the sports science guys at Sheffield, his trainer, his promoter.... and Brook himself..... but I should take your opinion over everyone involved with Brook for many years and who know every detail about his nutrition and fitness?

Pure delusion, and you're doing exactly what most Spence fans do.... try to make out that Spence fought a prime Brook lol it's a joke like I said, pure delusion.
