Cotto arguably hits harder than Spence and Spence might walk in to huge left hooks. Spence is also smaller than Margarito and doesn't have the tenacity.

Cotto beats all of them IMO.

The cotto that fought Mosley and margarito was the same cotto. He beats Garcia, has a tough but winnable effort against Porter and his smothering. I think Thurman can beat him. Mostly because Thurman doesn't back down and I'm not sure if cotto won't wilt to the pressure. Definitely fight of the year potential with their styles. Spence shows him what a real body puncher is. Crawford wins as well.

As much as I liked Cotto, he always had the potential to wilt against people who decide to fight back. Chop chop, Margo, pac, floyd, canelo.

Well I would argue that while Cotto physically was the same, the experience he took from the Mosley fight could only benefit him. I think the Cotto that went into the ring against Margarito was his best. But that's splitting hairs. I wouldn't say you're wrong.

Also, we have to think of what Cotto would do to these guys too. Spence presents problems with his pressure and strength, but I don't think he applied pressure like Margarito, and while he is better defensively, he would be hit, and I don't think he could take half that punishment. Margarito's ability to take a punch was special. Crawford to me is a rare talent. If he can avoid trouble early, he could win. Cotto against Spence and Crawford are 50/50 to me.

I think he loses to Spence and Crawford and beats the others.

Cotto is a fighter that made his name by losing to ATGs. He probably loses to Spence, Crawford, and Thurman.

Prime Cotto was a beast. He'd have today's welterweight division pissing blood for weeks

Cotto never beat a prime A-level fighter. I favor Thurman, Crawford, Spence, and Danny over Cotto.
