    Spence chasing Wards record

Do you think Errol Spence is going to take the Andre Ward route to being P4P number one?

I think he is a much better fighter than Ward and a clean fighter and a pleasure to watch. Pound for pound rankings are opinion based and can't really be proven right or wrong so there are no right or wrong answers only opinions. My opinion is Spence is damn good. The best welterweight in the world. He weighed 156 pounds on fight night so he is just and average sized welterweight no bigger than Crawford. I think Spence will continue to knock everyone out until most agree he is the best pound for pound. You will never get 100% agreement on pound for pound rankings because it is just opinions and boxing fans never all have the same opinion.

Spence clearing out welterweight wouldn't make him P4P #1 in my eyes.

He would need to move up to 154 and see some success after clearing out 147, IMO. Crawford is a great win and would move him up in the rankings, but at the same time, I see Crawford as a smaller fighter.

if he fights a bunch of slow plodding fighters and controversially wins most of his fights by fouling, then moves up to 154 and gets wiped out but is gifted a win, then in the rematch low blows the crap outta the guy and "wins" then yes he will match wards "record"
