Dudes a beast. Especially against this competition. Fighters need to just drop belts and build their careers on fights and not belts. These organizations are obviously ******ed lol. So get a live and unbroken body in for spence. Not a very good card all around

That was Charles Martin. But he won the title when Glazkov blew his knee in-ring.

Glazkov was actually the mandatory challenger and Martin next in line.

Another name to add to the Wade, Ocampo.. list

I think Garcia might make ten rounds with Spence after he beats Porter would get stopped by Spence and Thurman at this time is probably in another country...

Just read the purses were 1.2 million for Spence and 75k for Ocampo lol.
Guy probably would have gotten at least 50k more through a purse bid.

Spence is one of my favorite fighters, but Ocampo was a can. I fear he'll have to fight a lot of bums at this calibre. I don't see any one at 147 wanting to fight him but Bud. Of course boxing politics may not allow that to happen for awhile.

And Bud won't eat up the division because he will never fight the best fighters in the division. He is older than DSG, Porter, Thurman, and Spence. He weighs the same or more than all of them. And yet, Bud's toughest opponent to date is either Postol or Horn. Those guys are literally the same level as Algieri.

Bud starved himself so he wouldn't have to be in a jww division with Khan, DSG, Maidana, and Peterson. Once the all moved up and some bum like Indongo was able to get two of the belts, he finally moved up. But now, he can't make 140 anymore. He was putting on close to 20 pounds from weigh-in to the fight.

People said the same thing about Broner when he fought the level of competition that Bud has faced his entire career. But AB has balls and all three of his losses were to guys that would destroy everyone Bud has ever fought. Bud is a great talent, but he is seriously a eunuch. They clipped his balls off when he was younger.

Heck, even Guerrero won belts in multiple divisions and was on the p4p list. Same thing happened to him that did to Broner though. He fought A level opponents. Bud is already 31 and has yet to face anyone better than a B-. No one really knows how good Bud is, because he never fights anyone good. If Broner fought the same opponents as Bud has, he would probably still be undefeated and p4p lists too.
You don’t know what your talking about. Crawford is a natural 140 pounder. He really shouldn’t go up, but that’s where the money is. Your stretching comparing AB size to Crawford. AB should be fighting 130-135.
Not sure how long Spence can stay at 147. Maybe another 1-2 years. Now he’s a natural 154 pounder.
Remember what I said. I’ll be the one telling you “who told you so”.

Watch Thurman get re-injured again Now to avoid Spence

Spence will never get a Thurman fight. Now Garcia and Spence is a good fight. Crawford will be hard to hook up with also because it makes so much sense and is logical and the fight to make in boxing. Boxing is a crooked sport and with that pimp Al slime Haymon and Sammy and his two chimps in the ring the odor is terrible.

Ocampo actually looked decent before the KO, would like to see him again vs a another guy not named Crawford or Spence.

All this gonna lead to Spence vs Crawford which imho is gonna be the next superfight after Canelo vs GGG and Joshua vs Wilder. I don't see any of those guys losing anysoon onless they fight eachother.

Good post, and on point. I agree with you and add that potentially great fighters should fight big money fights only against the top of their division, or the next division. If they did that, they wouldn't need BS belts. Fans will know who the best is.

Examples of potential money fights are: Davis-Lomachenko, Spence-Crawford, Canelo-Spence. Fans will buy.

Remember, nobody is fighting just for the love of boxing. It's a brutal sport. Make your money and get out while you still have a few brain cells. GGG is smart for waiting for Canelo, despite all that BS they went through.

If I were Spence, I'd be calling Haymon to try and get a Canelo fight. Great money and a meaningful bout if either wins. I'd also be fighting someone like Lara, not Hurd or Jermell yet.

Time for Spence to step up and be smart. Stop wasting time on people who won't fight you. Build on your hype. Take a couple of fights at 154.

That's my rant, and I am a big (frustrated) Spence fan.

                      Green K for you, man!
