Comments Thread For: Joe Joyce: I'd Love Hughie Fury Fight, Chisora Will Still Dodge Me

Joe Joyce maintained his undefeated record with a first round knockout of late replacement Ivica Bacurin last night at London's home of boxing The York Hall, Bethnal Green, promoted by Hayemaker Ringstar. In front of a packed house with an electric atmosphere, Joyce, the Commonwealth Champion, made it his third first round stoppage as he halted Croatia's Bacurin at just 1:54 of the opening round.

Neither Fury got balls to mix it with the Juggernaut.

Hayemaker Promotions' lack of clout seems to be hurting him at this point. He should transfer over to Matchroom at the earliest opportunity. Ashfaq and Hutchinson already moved on

Let's be honest here! With the likes of Joshua, Wilder, Povetkin Etc running as top dogs, both Hughie & Joyce have ltd options. So why not make the fight before the years out, with the winner to face Kayabel for the EBU title in the new year?

              Agreed

Haye hasn’t got the coin to get him big fights . No one with decent rankings is gonna fight a dude with 6 fights unless the money is right

Needs to jump ship for sure

I thought he beat Yoka in the gold medal match, would look forward to a rematch in the pros, back Joyce all the way in that one.

Usyk is a different animal, but he has Gassiev issues and will have far bigger fish to fry than Joyce should he win the WBSS.
